The modern arena as we know it today has its origins from about 100 years ago. Since then a lot of aspects have been changed and developed. Arenas built in the same age tend to have the same features and configurations and can therefore be categorized into different generations. Stockholm is represented in each generation but the fourth that constitutes arenas of the early 21st century. Besides that there has been several arena constructions built through the entire 20th century and now most recently in 2010s.The overall motive behind arena investments can be categorized into two types.

The purpose of this paper is to examine whether, and if so, how tourism effect the construction of a new city district with a stadium in focus. The study is based on a case study of Swedbank Arena and Arenastaden as nearby area. There has been an interest from the writers to study Swedbank Arena and Arenastaden, as it is a current subject, and both of them are under construction, which means that it was possible to see how the process works from the ground up. It has been shown that Swedbank Arena is built up in an entirely new district in which there will be new infrastructure that is tailored to the stadium and the crowd it?s expected to attract.

The purpose of this study is to show the technical building requirements for modern arenas inSweden. The study will also create an understanding of how the requirements affect theSwedish football arenas which are affected by the regulations valid from 2014. As one of theSwedish football arenas there is Örjans Vall located in Halmstad. The aim of this study is todevelop alternative solutions regarding the technical problems Örjans Vall is facing 2014,when the new arena requirements for ?Svensk elitfotboll? are taken into use.

Utifrån undersökningens resultat ges Arena Personal enfördjupad inblick i de områden som upplevs som bra och i de områdensom upplevs som sämre samt svar på varför kunderna inte använderrekrytering i samma utsträckning som bemanning.TillvägagångssättIntervjuer med fyra av Arena Personals kunder genomfördes ochsammanställdes för att få en bild av hur de uppfattade Arena Personal.Resultatet av de viktigaste positiva och negativa aspekterna av ArenaPersonal presenterades utifrån de fyra områden som undersökningenutgick ifrån.

Detta examensarbete syftar till att besvara frågor rörande historieanvändning och historieförmedling på lajv. För att besvara och belysa användandet och bruket av historia redogör detta arbete för tidigare forskning i ämnet, problematiserar och diskuterar denna forskning, och forskningen används sedan för att studera lajvande. Problem som uppkommit är att forskningen idag i mycket lägger fokus på arenor där lärande är ett mål, vilket inte är fallet med lajv i stort. De teorier som presenteras är historiedidaktiska teorier, och de har i en del fall överförts från ett studium av skolan, och anpassats, eller tolkats, för att passa in i studiet av lajv. En hel del forskning som existerar kring ämnet historiedidaktik har lagt tonvikten vid att studera enbart skolan, och dessa har behövt tolkas för att passa in i studiet av en annan arena.

Denna uppsats behandlar tidskriften Populär Historia. Tidskriften används av många skolor och jag har själv använt den i undervisningen. Dock undrar jag om den har en historiesyn som ligger i samklang med kursplanen för historia A på gymnasiet. För att få en bra bild av både Populär Historia och kursplanen redogörs de för separat. Tidskrift och kursplan jämförs sedan och skillnader respektive likheter presenteras.Innehållet i tidskriften visar sig inte vara helt i samförstånd med kursplanen utan skiljer sig på många punkter.

To fulfill the purpose I?ve used three minor questions which are; a) which actors participate in the public deliberation about Kristianstad Arena, b) Which are the arguments emerge, c) Which clear differences in the arguments is there between the actors? To find my answers I?ve examined the local paper during a period of four months.
